An admission is lost in the off-season, not in July.
InAdz runs admissions and enrolment marketing for universities, colleges, schools, coaching institutes and skill academies across Madhya Pradesh and India. Education marketing differs from general performance marketing in three ways: the calendar governs everything, two people with different questions are involved in one decision, and the enquiry that matters is a conversation rather than a click.
What is actually in the way
The calendar governs everything
Demand is compressed into a few weeks. Every institution bids in the same window, so the price of a July enquiry is set by competitors who also waited.
Two people, one decision
A parent asks about fees, placement and safety. A student asks about campus, course and peers. One message serves neither.
The enquiry is a conversation
A form fill is not the end of the funnel. What happens after it decides the season, and most institutions have very little visibility of that stretch.
The outcome sits outside the ad platforms
A confirmed seat is recorded in your admissions system, weeks or months after the click. Google and Meta cannot see it unless it is sent back to them.
Where an admission season is usually lost.
What the reporting showed
- Enquiry count ahead of the previous year, every month from January
- Cost per enquiry down
- Healthy by every measure on the dashboard
What actually happened
- Admissions closed eleven per cent short
The gap that reporting usually misses is the time between an enquiry arriving and anyone acting on it. Match enquiry timestamps against the admissions record and the pattern tends to be the same: enquiries sit for several days before first contact, and by then most have already visited other campuses. The media is rarely the constraint.
Our part is to make that visible and put it in the monthly report. What happens next is yours to decide, because the counselling desk is not ours to run.
A pattern we see across institutions, not a single client engagement.
Who this is for
Universities and autonomous colleges
Programme-level economics. An MBA enquiry and a B.Tech enquiry have different costs and different parents.
Professional and technical colleges
Placement record carries the decision, and what may be claimed about it is tightly framed.
Schools, CBSE and state board
A tight catchment and a decision made almost entirely by parents.
Coaching and test preparation
Judged on exam results, fiercely seasonal, competing with national brands on local ground.
Skill academies and vocational institutes
An adult learner paying their own fees, who asks about employment before anything else.
Who you are actually talking to
Two people, asking different questions, at different moments.
The decision moves this way
- StudentShortlists Is this somewhere I want to spend three years?
- ParentApproves Fees, placement and safety: is this a sound decision?
How we work
Three stages, run in order. Each one earns the next.
Build the calendar
A full year, split into awareness, consideration and conversion phases. Off-season awareness built when media is cheaper and fewer institutions are bidding.
Reach both decision-makers
Parent-facing and student-facing creative run as separate tracks. Programme-level campaigns. Regional language creative for districts outside the metros.
Make the funnel visible
Enquiry routing by programme so each lead reaches the right desk, call tracking, timestamped enquiry reporting, and remarketing across the weeks between enquiry and decision.
What we report
What you can share back, if you choose to
Which enquiries reached counselling, and which converted. Where you share it, we send it back to Google and Meta as an offline conversion, so the platforms learn which enquiries are worth bidding for. It stays entirely your data and entirely your decision.
What we work within
Questions people ask
When should a college start its admissions campaign?
About a year before the admission window. The early months build familiarity cheaply, which makes the in-season campaign more affordable. Campaigns that start in season pay the highest prices of the year.
How do you market a college to parents and students at the same time?
As two separate campaigns. Parents respond to fees, placement and safety. Students respond to campus, course and peer group. The same creative addressed to both usually persuades neither.
How do you track admissions from digital campaigns?
By connecting the enquiry to your admissions records and sending the result back to the ad platforms as an offline conversion. We set up the tracking; the admission data stays with you and is shared only if you want it used.
What does digital marketing cost for a college?
It depends on how many programmes you are marketing separately, how many languages, whether video production is included, and how long the calendar runs. We scope it against your admission targets rather than quoting a package.
Do you work with colleges outside Indore?
Yes. We work with institutions across Madhya Pradesh, including Dewas, Ujjain, Bhopal and Jabalpur, and with clients elsewhere in India.
